Lyon Miniatures is a collection inspired by my personal journey spanning from May 2022 to May 2023. Its inspiration traces back to a trip to Lyon, France in the early summer of 2022—an experience that initially felt like a dream. However, as time unfolded, the once-magical memories took on a bittersweet color, prompting me to translate my emotions into short melodies. These compositions reflect not only the moments of joy experienced during the trip but also the melancholy that settled in later on.

Crafting Lyon Miniatures was an intensely personal endeavor, undertaken without any intention of sharing them with others It had been over a decade since I last composed purely to document and encapsulate my emotions, without being tied to any project, performance, or audience.

These short pieces can be performed in any order, individually or collectively.
